Meet DelMo Ambassador Scott Turner.
1. What are your race goals this season?
My biggest race goal is to qualify for 70.3 World Championships.
2. Best racing advice?
No matter where I finish or how slowly I finish, I always try to find something positive (how ever small) to take from a race. I’m fiercely competitive, so I have to force myself to balance that with a bit of perspective.
3. Favorite pre-race meal?
“Summer Porridge” (Fridge Oatmeal) with Peanut Butter and Banana. I eat this before just about every race! Great slow fuel and really easy on the nervous stomach.
4. Do you pee on the bike?
Nope, I hold it! It makes you run a little bit faster! 😉
5. Tell us something we should know about you.
A. I spend my professional life working in Special Education. Helping at-risk students learn, and autistic students make art in their own way.
B. I’m a proud (but not in your face) vegetarian!
