Well, in true DelMoSports fashion, we could not just choose ONE Volunteer of the Year for 2021.
The superb characteristics that these Volunteer Winners have exemplified match the passion that we have for the multisport community. Their roles have impacted every single one of our 2021 DelMoSports athletes – whether you have met either one of these individuals, or not.
DelMoSports’ Volunteers of the Year have proven themselves to be:

Both have committed to volunteering for multiple years, and they keep coming back!
Let’s shine the spotlight on: Joseph Antonelli and Sandi Garrison Maund!
*DelMoSports is proud to name Joseph Antonelli as a dual recipient of DelMoSports’ 2021 Volunteer of the Year. We recognize Joseph as a dedicated Volunteer Athlete, having both participated in and volunteering at multiple DelMoSports events for multiple years. Joseph enthusiastically shows up each morning wearing a cowboy hat with rolled-up sides and you will probably remember him from Transition at our multisport events.
In addition to his volunteer duties, Joseph’s beautiful family includes wife Analin and son Ryan. He is a Full Time Sales Associate for Home Depot, a Member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, and a Scout Leader and Chaplin for Troop 94, and is already signed up to volunteer at all of our 2022 events.
*DelMoSports is also honored to name Sandi Garrison Maund as a dual recipient of DelMoSports’ 2021 Volunteer of the Year. We recognize Sandi as a magical Volunteer, having multiple groups covering multiple locations for many years: PEO, Panther Band, Boy Scouts. Sandi brings her husband Brian and sons Logan and Mason to volunteer, along with her/Brian’s coffee! Sandi can frequently be seen in registration at almost all of our events, and also recruits new groups to volunteer with DelMoSports.
In addition to her volunteer endeavors, Sandi is a teacher in Middle Township and very involved with her family and their hobbies and interests.
We are completely grateful for all that both Joseph and Sandi bring to our events. You will always see them with a smile on their face, and can feel the positivity and energy they command when in their presence.
