If you’ve raced with DelMo in the past, you know how much we LOVE tri clubs. This month we sit down with Brenda Englehart-Spence of Mullica Hill Women’s Tri Club, the largest all-female triathlon club in the United States. Here we go.
1. What are your race goals this season?
Simply put to beat all my times from my races last year, doing all the same DelMo races, and as always cross the line with a smile.
2. Best racing advice?
Never panic during a race. I always put my time in and try to remember I do this for fun.
3. Favorite pre-race meal?
Peanut butter sandwich, coffee and a banana.
4. Do you pee on the bike?
Can’t pee on the bike. Just purchased a Specialized Alias Pro and I respect it.
5. Tell us three things we should know about you.
I am happy to age up this year even though 55 is scary. I am still deathly afraid of heights even after jumping off the ferry 3 times. I am truly in love with this sport and have met the nicest people ever at every race.
