The first five months of the year are gone…just like that! Remember your New Year’s Resolution?
Did you have one? Did you write it down? Have you lived up to it? Have you #donethework? Well, here it is. School is about to let out. Summer will commence in a few days and there won’t be a weekend where there cannot find 7 different triathlons to race within 2 hours of your home. Now is the time people. Now is the time to finally sit down (if you haven’t already done so) and put a few races on the calendar.

I’m not talking about penciling them in, I’m talking about getting the credit card out and investing in you. Of course, I would never ask you to do something that I haven’t done or I am doing. in 2016, after a three year hiatus, I am going to be lacing up alongside my fellow athletes to put my very best out there for all to see…for better or worse. Where will DelMo be this summer? Here’s the schedule:

- Cesar Island 5k Swim

As you can see, I’m sticking close to home this summer. It works best for my family and that is PARAMOUNT. I’ve committed my time AND my money to making this summer memorable and healthy. I will no longer use the excuse of “I’m too busy to train,” or “Ok, I’ll sign up tomorrow,” to ever get in my way again. Now is my time people. And here’s another thing, it’s not easy. It’s never easy to make a declaration to yourself or anyone for that matter, but if you don’t DEMAND more of yourself and commit to health and wellness you will never fully grasp it’s power.
